We work closely with clients to create bespoke pieces, whether adapting an existing piece or imagining something entirely new. We view the process as a collaboration. It’s an opportunity to invite you into our world and better understand yours—how you live, what you’re drawn to and, ultimately, how the piece will function in your life.
Bespoke
1 Design Inception
We begin with a conversation to understand your vision, exploring visual inspiration and developing a deeper understanding of the piece’s desired form and function. We gather the details—dimensions, glazes, textures—that serve as a basis for the design.
2 Prototype and Refine
Once the initial concept is approved, we create detailed sketches and glaze samples for the piece. If we’re producing greater quantities for a hospitality or wholesale partnership, we create prototypes to ensure the design is structurally sound and achieves the desired effect.
3 Design, Realized
Once approved, we put our collaborative and imaginative pieces into production: we’ll cut, assemble, dry, fire, glaze, fire, fit, shade and test your finished product. This process takes between 10 to 14 weeks.
Semi-Bespoke
We also offer a semi-bespoke experience for our designers who want to modify an existing design’s scale, glaze, texture or shade to suit your space.
