Dumais Made is a ceramics studio that makes pieces by hand. A practice that began with lamps and has since evolved to furniture, objects, and accessories that balance form and function.

We like making things with people, especially those whose job is different from ours, as finding a common language over a slab is always enlightening, and inevitably leads to a piece that could only be created together. Last year, Debbie Probst, Global President of Retail at MillerKnoll, stopped by the studio to make a lamp. Above is a snippet of the conversation we shared on that sunny afternoon. Enjoy!
